These terms govern your use of Lendline. They are written to be readable, but they are still a binding contract. Please read them carefully.
By creating a Lendline account, accessing the Lendline website, or using any Lendline service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service.
If you are using Lendline on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.
Lendline provides a cloud-based phone number service that allows customers to obtain a virtual phone line, receive calls and text messages, and transfer ownership of that line to another Lendline user through a shareable link ("Service"). The Service is delivered through web and mobile applications.
The underlying telephony infrastructure is provided by licensed telecommunications carriers and cloud communications providers. Lendline acts as a service layer on top of these providers and is not itself a regulated telecommunications carrier in most jurisdictions.
Lendline is not a 911 / emergency service provider. You may not rely on Lendline numbers to contact emergency services. Always keep an alternative means of contacting emergency services.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to create a Lendline account. Lendline is intended for use by individuals, businesses, and organizations conducting lawful activities.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account, and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
For certain countries, regulatory rules require us to collect and verify identity information about the holders of phone numbers. You agree to provide such information when requested. Failure to provide valid identity information may result in suspension or termination of the affected number.
When you obtain a phone number through Lendline, you receive a non-exclusive license to use that number for the duration of your active subscription. The underlying number remains the property of the issuing carrier and the relevant national numbering authority.
If your subscription lapses (for example, due to a failed payment that is not corrected within 14 days), the number associated with your account may be released back to the carrier pool and may no longer be recoverable. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before any number is released.
You may request to port a Lendline number out to another carrier under applicable telecommunications portability rules (in the US, under FCC rules; in other countries, under equivalent local rules). Lendline does not charge a fee for port-outs.
Lendline allows you to transfer ownership of a phone number to another Lendline user by generating a transfer link from your dashboard. When the recipient accepts the transfer, the number and its associated subscription move to the recipient's account.
Once a transfer is accepted, the recipient becomes the new account holder for the number. They assume all rights and responsibilities, including future billing, content received on the number, and compliance with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy. The previous owner has no further claim to the number.
By default, message and call history is not transferred. The previous owner retains a copy in their account; the recipient starts with a fresh history. Both parties may agree to share or transfer historical communications, but Lendline does not facilitate this automatically.
Transfers are final once accepted by the recipient and cannot be unilaterally reversed by Lendline. If both the previous owner and the recipient mutually agree to reverse a transfer, they may initiate a new transfer in the opposite direction.
If you have used your Lendline number to register or verify accounts on third-party services (for example, messaging apps, social platforms, financial services), transferring the number to another person may affect your access to those accounts. You are solely responsible for managing your own third-party account security, including by changing recovery numbers before transferring.
Lendline is offered on a subscription basis. Fees, billing periods, and currency are displayed in your account dashboard at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. By providing payment information, you authorize Lendline and its payment provider to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.
If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again over a period of up to 14 days. If payment is not successful within this period, we may suspend or release the affected number.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: new customers benefit from a 7-day money-back guarantee on their first subscription, and pro-rated credits are issued for confirmed Lendline-side outages of more than 24 hours. If you cancel mid-billing-period, you retain access to the Service until the end of that period.
Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or government charges that apply to your purchase, except for taxes based on Lendline's net income.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using Lendline you agree not to use the Service for any prohibited purpose listed in that policy. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
You may cancel your subscription or close your account at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without notice, if we determine in good faith that:
On termination, your access to the Service ends, your numbers are released back to the carrier pool, and any data associated with your account may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Outstanding fees remain due.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lendline disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
While we work hard to maintain reliable service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation. Telecommunications networks are subject to outages, and certain messages or calls may not be delivered.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lendline's total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Lendline in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. In no event will Lendline be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold Lendline harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the Service at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
